Child Care—How to Join

Welcome to the Ozarks Regional YMCA Child Care branch. We are the largest provider of child care in Southwest Missouri, serving more than 2,000 kids each day in our Prime Time
before and after school child care program.

You may register for any child care program on a program-by-program basis. Fees for each program vary.

In all child care programs at Ozarks Regional YMCA, we strive to accommodate children’s needs as best we can. Unfortunately, there are times when our programs cannot meet the needs of all children. In the event that this occurs, we will be glad to offer suggestions for more appropriate care. Thank you for your cooperation.

Fees and Payments

Primetime and Summer Odyssey Fees— A $20/child non-refundable fee is to be paid at the time of registration.

Program Fees—fees vary by the program. Please choose any program to see its fees.

Payments—schedules vary for each Child Care program. Please choose a program to find out more about payments.

Online Payments—To make Child Care payments online at orymca.org. Just click on the “Make Child Care Payment” button and follow the directions from there. You will need your child’s member ID# [found on your bill] and your child’s preset password; see example below.

Registration Information
You may register for all Child Care programs at either Springfield YMCA branch:
Your Downtown YMCA 417 S. Jefferson, 65806.
Pat Jones YMCA 1901 E. Republic, 65804.

Your child will not be registered until the registration form is filled out completely. If the program you choose has an enrollment fee, the fee must be paid before your child can be registered.

How to Register
You may register at any YMCA branch location. Only schools outside of the Springfield area may register at the Prime Time site.

Once registered, you will receive a “Child Enrollment Form”. This is a required state form that must be fully completed and taken to the Prime Time site leader before your child may attend. Refunds will only be given due to severe hardship and are subject to a $10.00 processing fee. If services have been rendered, your refund will be prorated. Enrollment fees are non-refundable.

Financial Assistance Matching scholarships are available for students who meet the established criteria. You may fill out the downloadable Financial Assistance Form, or get one at any YMCA Welcome Center.

Accident Insurance The YMCA is not responsible for any personal injury incurred while children are at Prime Time. Parents are encouraged to have insurance covering accidents.

Absences— A maximum of three weeks credit per school year can be posted to your account.
