500 Mile Club (all ages)
Run, walk or jog 500 miles and become an exclusive
member of the 500 Club by earning a one-of-a-kind
t-shirt. Members only. No minimum or maximum mileage
per day. Please register at the Y Welcome Center
prior to beginning. Mileage log sheets will be on the
first floor landing. T-shirts will be available once you
reach 500 miles. Members only, $5 per person.
Session 1: Jan 1-June 30
Session 2: July 1-Dec 31
Learn to Run a 5k
Have you ever wanted to learn to run a 5K but you
weren't sure where to start? This program meets 2
times a week for 9 weeks to help you progressively
build up to running a 5K. All participants have the option
of running a 5K race at the end of the program
with the group they have trained with. A special t-shirt
is included in the program fee. There will be 2 sessions
offered per year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
