Welcome to the YMCA family!

We're so much more than a fitness center.
Your YMCA membership makes you part of something bigger—a movement to create strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

The YMCA’s mission is to promote Judeo-Christian values through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.The Ozarks Regional YMCA has been serving this community since 1889, currently hosting more than 33,000 members and program participants.Character development is an integral part of all YMCA programs and services. YMCA staff, members and volunteers continually strive to exemplify and teach the four core character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as a basis for all we do.

One way we’ve accomplished this is through the development of Asset-building programming. This programming is scientifically shown to create youth who engage in fewer negative, high-risk behaviors; exhibit positive behaviors like succeeding in school, showing leadership qualities and valuing diversity; and creating youth who are resilient in the face of change, dealing with stresses more positively. The YMCA stands on a foundation of serving all people.

No one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Scholarships are available for programs and services regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnicity. There is something for everyone at the YMCA and we’re committed to serving you for a lifetime.

We’re all in it together. As a group, the nation’s more than 2,400 YMCAs are the largest not-for-profit community service organizations in America, serving 17.9 million people in 10,000 communities in the United States. YMCAs are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. YMCAs stretch beyond the United States, to work in more than 120 countries around the world, serving more than 30 million people.
