Office Manager

Position: Part time Office Manager

Reports to: CEO

Location: Association Offices, Downtown Springfield, MO
Wage Range: 
$15 per hour / 20 hours per week

                            (mornings, as early as 7:00 am for meetings)

Under the direction of the CEO, the OFFICE MANAGER is responsible for aiding and supporting the CEO of the Association to carry out responsibilities of the Executive Office and on behalf of the Association Offices.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CEO in carrying out policies, plans and decisions of the Board of Directors by performing highly confidential and complex administrative duties.

  • Retain and Record all records, minutes, and rosters related to committees and Board meetings.

  • Maintain calendars for CEO, Board meetings, board room, car reservations, traveling arrangements, and scheduling for hosted groups. 

  • Handling the creation of deposits through CCC & Raisers Edge.

  • Manage Fourth Floor: order supplies, plan celebrations, maintain contact list, stock kitchen for Board Meetings, department and maintain set-ups and teardowns, etc….

  • Drive continuous improvement within the executive office by evaluating need while designing and implementing solutions and collaborating with leadership to identify areas of improvement with support and seek positive solutions to operational and Association Office challenges.

  • Develop standards for correspondence, mailing lists, exports, and reports generated by the Association Office with the objective of quality outcomes and association vision; also, providing timely data and data analysis for Association staff as needed.

  • Greet guest and visitors, answer questions and be a role model in the Association offices regarding safety, appearance, and positive demeanor and respect of others.

  • Function as liaison between CEO and staff and perform other duties as assigned by the CEO, CFO or Director of Development.



  • Associate degree or higher

  • Minimum of 1-3 years administrative assistant experience preferred

  • Microsoft Office and Database experience

  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and problem-solving skill
