SUMMARY:Sprint Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Pat Jones “Tri at the Y” Sprint Triathlon\, a USA Triathlon sanctioned event presented in partnership with Heartland Racing\, is designed to create opportunities for novice and beginning athletes while still challenging experienced racers. At less than half the distance of an Olympic triathlon\, this 17-and-over event will consist of a 300-meter swim\, an 8-mile bike ride\, and a 5k run. \nContinuing in our legacy of engagement with and enrichment of the Springfield Community\, this event is designed to build community involvement through personal connections\, collaboration\, and the reinforcement of healthy lifestyles. \nThe Tri at the Y is routed on a beautiful bike and run course that weaves through neighboring southeast Springfield communities\, and we are so proud and excited to bring this opportunity to the Springfield area. \nWe hope that you will join us for the Pat Jones Tri at the Y! \nView full event details and pricing
