Position: Part-time Housekeeping/Light maintenance Staff
Locations: Pat Jones YMCA
Reports to: Environmental Services Director

Wage Range: $9.00/hour

Shift Hours: 

Tuesday 6-11p.m, Wednesday 6-11p.m, Thursday 6-11p.m,

Friday 5-10:30p.m, Saturday 2-8p.m

Major Responsibilities:

• General cleaning and care of the facility including all offices, studios, workout areas and locker rooms.  (Includes dusting, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, replenishing supplies etc.)

• Perform general cleaning, painting, changing of lamps, and other equipment and building preventative and light maintenance functions that are a normal part of commercial building upkeep

• Use daily, weekly and monthly check-off lists to maintain facility appearance

• Continuously work to achieve satisfactory scoring on facility inspection reports

• Maintains records and communicates regularly on Job Logs, Work Orders, and other appropriate documentation

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision

• Basic communication and customer service skills required

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb, bend, stand for long periods of time, operate mechanical equipment and work in extreme heat or cold environments

• Must be able to use standard cleaning equipment including cleaning solutions and chemicals

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in commercial housekeeping and facilities preferred
