YMCA After School is a structured program with time for kids to start homework, engage in active fun and enjoy a snack with friends.  Studies show participation in before/after school programs help boost school attendance, academic performance and reduce gaps in academic achievement.

 

Each day the YMCA will provide kids with a healthy snack that meets or exceeds the Bureau of Community Food & Nutrition Guidelines. Kids will participate in fun club activities that will focus on nutrition and character development four times per week. Every day, kids can visit the tutor table, which is designated time for kids to receive help with homework and enrichment activities provided by qualified YMCA staff. Every day kids will participate in active play that will expose them to both moderate and vigorous physical activity, as well as have opportunities to play and do craft projects.
