Beginner
AGES 5-18
At the beginner level swimmers are taught the 4 strokes that are used in competitive swim (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle).
They will be taught to perform each of these strokes at a legal level for the Highland Area Association. These swimmers will also be learning the 4 legal turns for each of the 4 strokes.
The most important thing these swimmers will be learning is that swimming is not just a great place to make friends, but also to have fun and enjoy swimming.
Intermediate
AGES 5-21
With this group knowing the basic knowledge of each stroke and turns, these swimmers will start to build and improve on each stroke technique and turn. This group will also start building into difficult practices and endurance workouts and, introduced to interval training.
Advanced
AGES 5-21
At our highest-level group these swimmers will be building on into even more precise stroke techniques and turns. In this group swimmers will be exposed to difficult workouts with much more interval-based sets.
