Child Care

Kids Zone is Currently CLOSED

Child care for kids ages 6 weeks to 9 years is available for up to 2 hours while you work out. It's free for those with family memberships, and just $4 per child for everyone else.

School Day Out

Our School Day Out program is day full of fun and activities for children in Grades K-6th. School Day Out will meet at the Monett Area YMCA and will be offered any day that the Monett School District has a scheduled day out of school (such as teacher in-services). These days will be full of games, adventures, and exciting activities such as Roller Skating, Swimming, and/or Arts/Crafts. Discounts are available to Monett Area YMCA Family Members, current After School Program participants, and State Pay Assisted children. For more information contact the Monett Area YMCA.

Aurora Early Release Fridays

After School Programs

YMCA After School is a structured program with time for kids to start homework, engage in active fun and enjoy a snack with friends. The program begins immediately after school until 5:45 pm every day after regular school days, both full and half days. Monett grades K-2 meet in the cafeteria. Central Park Grades 3-6 meet in the gym. Grades 5-6 are bused to Central Park from the Intermediate School. Aurora's Pate Early Childhood Center grades K-6 meet in the cafeteria. Grades 3-6 are bused to Pate from Robinson Elementary and Robinson Intermediate. 


Summer Day Camp

Give your kids a summer of exciting activities, field trips, crafts, swimming, sports and more! Mondays through Fridays during the summer from 7 am to 5:45 pm for kids entering grades K-6. 


We offer quality, State Licensed child care services at Pate ECC to all children grades K-6th in need of care on all days that Aurora Schools have early dismissal due to teacher in-service. Children from Pate ECC will report to the cafeteria at dismissal and children from either Robinson School will ride a district school bus from Robinson to Pate ECC. our care will begin immediately after school, remain open until 5:45pm, and will coincide with our After School Program. Register and pay by the month only. 

Need to know info

MEMBERSHIP CARDS—Upon becoming a member of the Y, you receive a membership key fob. You must present your card each time at the Welcome Center to be admitted into the building. Card cost is included in your membership fees. Replacements are $1.


GUEST PASSES —Y members are encouraged to bring in prospective members. For this reason, all memberships include unlimited guest passes. Members are limited to bringing the same guest twice.


DAILY PASSES— All guests should bring a photo ID.

FACILITY AGE REQUIREMENT—Children age 9 and under are not permitted into the facility without the direct supervision of a person age 16 or older. Children age 10 and above may use the facility unsupervised, as long as they do so in a responsible manner.


FACILITY CLOSINGS—The Monett Area YMCA is closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
