Multimedia Specialist
Position: Part Time Multimedia Specialist
Supervisor: Director of Marketing and Communications

Location: Association Offices, Downtown Springfield, MO
General Functions:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications and works with Design Coordinator & Multimedia Specialist to develop and implement digital materials, Website Updates, and e-mail marketing for the Ozarks Regional YMCA Association. He/she will also exemplify the character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in the performance of all job duties.
This person must be able to successfully operate in a startup-like environment and feel comfortable dealing with all production aspects as we grow our association video resources all within compliance with all Y-USA graphic standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain the Y brand by developing, implementing and maintaining consistent, accurate and professional publications and promotional materials. Maintain the integrity of the Y logo by adhering to the graphic standards set-forth by the YMCA of the USA.

Maintain social marketing efforts for association on established and emerging platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, twitter, YouTube, etc. with Design Coordinator and Multimedia Specialist.

Craft and send email marketing messages to members and program participants.

Maintain and update website for ORYMCA, YMCA Camp Wakonda and staff resource intranet site with accurate information about membership, promotions and programs.

Designing email signatures for staff resources website quarterly

Meet all production deadlines.

Is a member of the YMCA team, representing the Y at a variety of functions, including evening and/or weekend activities and other duties as assigned.
Incumbent must be dedicated to the vision of the Ozarks Regional YMCA, exemplify the Y Core Values and be able to communicate the Y Mission effectively.
Education and/or Experience Skills and Abilities:
As Social Media / Web, the incumbent must have knowledge of the printing industry, and be proficient in current software such as, but not limited to Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional, Trello and, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Chrome. Experience with content management systems such as WIX is a plus. Incumbent must be able to multi-task—handle multiple projects and deadlines—and work independently. The incumbent must be innovative and well versed in industry trends as they apply to the Y graphics standards. Also, meet the department needs and the policies of the Y.
Wage Range: $10 - $12 per hour
