Part-time School Age Services Program Staff,
Assistant Program Leaders,
Reports to: School Age Services Program Director
Wage Range: $9.45 - $11.00 per hour (based on experience and education)
The School Age Services (SAS) Program is seeking individuals to run our before and after school programs in the Springfield area. They will be responsible for planning, leading, and implementing recreational and creative experiences for school age children in a group setting. The incumbent provides high quality recreational experiences for school aged children that focus on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
SAS Assistant Program Leader: Supervise staff when Program Leader is not on site
SAS Program Leader: Supervise staff on site
At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR/First Aid certifications and Child Abuse trainings attained within 30 days of hire
SAS Program Staff: Previous experience working with school age children
SAS Assistant Program Leader: Previous experience working with school age children
SAS Program Leader: At least 6 credits in elementary education, child guidance, or child development and previous experience working with school age children
