Pat Jones YMCA First Annual Outdoor Sprint Triathlon
This is an outdoor sprint triathlon. Sprint triathlons are short-distance triathlons, consisting of a:

300 meter swim

20 kilometer bike ride
-
5 kilometer run
This is half the distance of an Olympic triathlon and less than a quarter of the distance
of the Ironman. The shorter distances have made sprint triathlons are ideal for training and a great way to get started in triathlons as a beginner.
For those who may want an edge in the competition, there will be a 6-week Triathlon Training at Pat Jones YMCA Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning March 14.
