Grab a partner and sign up to play in the Dinking Doubles tournament at Pat Jones YMCA. Compete in this non-sanctioned, indoor doubles shootout tournament!
Pat Jones YMCA will be hosting six divisions of competition for players rated 2.5, 3.5, or 4.0 according to the USA Pickleball Association Player Skill Ratings rubric.
Sign up as a team for the division matching the skill level of the most advanced player in your duo. Individual signups will be paired up by YMCA staff. Teams are guaranteed at least three matches, with a round robin followed by a playoff to determine placing. First, second and third place teams in each division.

Pat Jones YMCA - Junior Lifeguard Camp 2023 - 03

Junior Lifeguard Camp is a great first step towards a job as a lifeguard. Junior Lifeguard Camp teaches the fundamentals of lifeguarding and will focus on safety awareness and skill development that will enhance the future of each camper while having fun!

Junior Lifeguarding has a strong focus on developing swimming skills to help participants meet the Lifeguarding course prerequisite. The course also introduces participants to learn basic first aid, CPR, rescues, scanning, rotations, whistle commands, customer service, and water chemistry! Participants also will have to opportunity to shadow lifeguards in rotation to get a real sense of the job.

REQUIREMENTS:

Swim 25 meters (Freestyle and Breaststroke)
Tread water for 1 minutes
Retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the pool
