Springfield Since 1888
About
Serving Southwest Missouri for more than 100 years.
The Ozarks Regional YMCA was established in Springfield in 1888, and our association is made up of six family centers, Pat Jones YMCA in Springfield, Ozark Mountain Family YMCA in Hollister, Monett Area YMCA, Cassville YMCA, Dallas County Area YMCA in Buffalo, Lebanon Family YMCA. In addition, our overnight camp, YMCA Camp Wakonda and the School Age Services department add depth to our community service making Ozarks Regional YMCA more than just a gym.
The Y is for everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives enable kids to realize their potential, prepare teens for college, offer ways for families to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, prepare people for employment, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster a nationwide service ethic.
And that’s just the beginning.
The Ozarks Regional YMCA is a not-for-profit organization that believes no one should be denied access to membership and/or programs due to the inability to pay. These funds are subsidized through grants, special events and the Y Impact Campaign.
Our organization continues to reflect a commitment to excellence in everything we do. We focus our work in three key areas of impact, because nurturing the potential of children, helping people live healthier and supporting our neighbors are fundamental to strengthening communities. We believe that to bring about meaningful change in individuals and communities, we must be focused and accountable.

We’re looking for board members to help lead the Ozarks Regional YMCA in responding to our neighborhood’s social needs while strengthening the foundation of community.
