The Ozarks Regional YMCA offers classes for all ages, all levels and all interests. From low-impact exercise and chair classes, stretching and strength training to indoor cycling, water exercise, and yoga, you’ll find a group class that’s fun, supportive and keeps you moving.
At the Y, sports and recreational activities are something special. Friendly competition, lots of variety and a supportive environment means team sports and recreation is fun again, and it makes for a healthier lifestyle and a good story or two.
Whether you miss “suiting up” or are new to team sports, the our sports leagues provide the perfect opportunity to be active, social and reconnect or start fresh with a sport you love.
Basketball, soccer, dodgeball, flag football and volleyball are just some of the options available to get you back on the court or on the field.
At the Y, a supportive community is a big part of wellness. At every age and every level of activity, you’ll find people just like you looking to live a little bit healthier. Members and program participants often cite the support and enthusiasm of fellow participants and staff as some of the key factors in their achievement of greater well-being.
We all need the advice of an expert sometimes, as well as the personal attention that comes with a trainer or coach. Ys offer personal training and coaching to help you set and meet your specific goals in order to live healthier.
It's never too late to get in shape! Let the YMCA teach you practices that will keep you going strong for the next 50 years! Our SilverSneakers® programs is suited especially to the older adult. Most fitness programs run all year long and are held in the group exercise or wellness areas at each of our branches.
SilverSneakers® is a fun and energizing program that helps older adults take control of their health through physical activity and social events. SilverSneakers® provides a FREE membership and specialized classes at the Y, and is a benefit for many Medicare plans. If you are part of a Medicare health plan, or if you are a group retiree, you may already have the SilverSneakers® benefit.
