Provides a single parent with one year of after school care, allowing them to work to support their family. Out of School time is a risky time for kids as they are most vulnerable to negative influences. The Y makes safe, fun and enriching activities available for our children during times it is most needed.

Supports the Y’s water safety programs for ten children. With drowning being one of the leading causes of accidental death among children, the Y is addressing this issue. Alongside our swim lessons, the Y’s “Safety Around Water” initiative makes underserved children safer in our pools, lakes and rivers.

Helps a child learn good sportsmanship and team skills through youth sports. In addition to developing sports skills, at the Y we teach the value of teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, safe and enriching environment for all our kids.
