Eligibility Requirements

Health & Dental Insurance

Coverage begins on the 1st day of the following month following 30 consecutive days of employment; unless hired on the 1st of the month. Coverage starts on the 1st day of the following month for the Insurance Benefit Plan(s) selected.

All Full-time Employees

The employee must enroll within thirty (30) days from the hire date or change of status.

Life Insurance

The Association pays 50% amount for coverage. The effective date of coverage is the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire date. This is a term insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance with the dollar coverage to the next thousand dollar of the annual salary. We also offer Optional Life and Dependent.

All Full-time Employees
Short-term Disability Insurance

YMCA will pay 60% of the employee’s full wage for days off beginning the 11th day, for the next 55 consecutive working days, until the waiting period for long-term disability.

All Full-time Employees

After being unable to work 10 consecutive working days due to illness or physical condition (upon verification) and has been employed 6 months or more.

National YMCA Retirement Fund Plan

After vesting period, employee will receive full contribution upon retirement.

YMCA contributes 9% of employee’s annual salary.

Full-time staff who meet the following eligibility requirements become vested

Two years of employment with the Ozarks Regional YMCA AND

At least 1,000 hours of employment within each year AND

Attainment of age 21 by anniversary date.

Holidays

The Association grants to all regular continuous full-time employees for the following:

New Year’s Day – Memorial Day – Independence Day – Labor Day – Thanksgiving – Christmas

All Regular Full-time Employees

Can participate by opening an account regardless of age, length of service, or hours worked.

PTO Accrual Schedule

1st-3rd years: 160 hours=20 days (6.67 hours per pay period)
After 3 full years: 200 hours=25 days (8.34 hours per pay period)
After 5 full years: 240 hours=30 days (10 hours per pay period)
After 20 full years: 280 hours= 35 days (11.67 hours per pay period)

All Regular Full-time Employees

Employees start earning PTO at a pro-rated bases the first of the month after 90 days of employment.
